| Sup folks. I am still alive. Lately I've been into
this whole second season of Dawson's Creek. Pretty sweet
show.. Given time and a little extra spending money I will own
every season of this glorious show.
So right now it is looking like I am pre-law. History major,
political science minor. Planning on taking the LSAT in the
summer. Hopefully that will go over okay so that I can get into
law school and get some scholarships. Then I can get a job and
make the $$$.
I have a couple of on-campus jobs as well. Of course I am still
working in the art galleries, but I am also a writing tutor now.
Go figure. It's not too bad, though.
Be smart and don't vote for a republican in your midterm elections
unless it is one of those special ones like McCain or Guiliani who
aren't that bad. Chances are if you do this thousands more lives
will be lost over one of the best government deceptions likely to occur
in our lifetimes. They don't want us there. Why do we
continue to oppress them and occupy their lands? Doesn't make
sense to me. I thought we were supposed to be a fair
nation.

| I kinda want to update with a good post, but then again I don't.
I haven't been caring enough lately to have any substantial
thoughts. Maybe I'll post on Fidel Castro sometime in the near
future. Keep your eyes peeled.
Love
Eric

| I went to Warped Tour yesterday in Cincinnati. Talk about a good time! This certainly was one!
Some highlights were jumping over everyone during Alexisonfire and getting the mic during "this is a .44 caliber love letter straight from my heart." =D Another highlight was walking by the "no name stage" and finding out the Tony Danza Tapdance Extravaganza was playing. That was a nice little surprise. Oh yeah, I also won a water bottle from the Marines stand for doing fifteen (15) pullups. I want to be in a top position in the military so bad.
Saves the Day (the only reason I went) were amazing of course. They played an electric set first and then later in the day played an acoustic set. They played "Firefly" last during their first set. That made me happy. But they didn't play "Hold" or "Third Engine" or "Through Being Cool" or "The Way His Collar Falls." Man, I just wish they would've played everything!
List of bands I saw:
Silverstein The Tony Danza Tapdance Extravaganza Senses Fail Saves the Day Misery Signals From Autumn To Ashes 18 Visions Alexisonfire Chiodos Every Time I Die Armor For Sleep Thursday Aiden The Greeley Estates The Bled The Early November Valient Thorr Gym Class Heroes

| Things have been up and down lately in the life of Eric. I went
home last Wednesday, which was a good thing. It's always good to
get away. On the Friday of my stay I found out my cousin
was in an accident and nearly severed his arm (dangling by a piece of
skin). He's in the hospital after undergoing 10.5 hours of
reattachment surgery. As long as it doesn't get infected he will
keep the arm. He's only seventeen years old. Luckily I had
some good company over the weekend to keep my spirits up. The
punks and I went out to eat and remenisced. Shobana came in and
we all had a blast seeing her. That's the first time she'd been
home in months. Now I'm back in Georgetown. I had dinner
with a few Houstonians (Mr. and Mrs Parker and the Dominator) last
night at Olive Garden. As usual they were too nice. Mrs.
Parker's hair is looking a-ok! Too bad she's already taken.
Okay. I'm going to end this and despise the existence of the
Middle East and every country that has played a part in developing its
current affairs.

| ...really need to get out and vote for Kinky Friedman as your
governor! I'm not just kidding on this one. The man has
some great ideas and with a decent cabinet the Texas government could
certainly become better. At least he plans to do something about
issuing the death penalty to people who never did anything to deserve
it. I mean, that seems pretty good to me.
I'm sure that he won't win the election, though. I mean he's a
Jew. He's only got about 15-20 percent support from likely
voters. I don't see a Jew becoming governor of a state full of so
many rednecks and good ole boys any time soon. But if they knew
what was best for them and what really made sense they would support
the guy. How can you turn down a guy who wrote a song called
"They Ain't Makin' Jews Like Jesus Anymore?" I know I
couldn't. Kinky makes me happy. I wish he'd take up
residence in Kentucky just so I could campaign my butt off for him.
On a more serious note my and Saul's
friend, Harley, has had a tragedy happen in his family. His
parents were in a motorcycle accident. His mom is dead and his
father is in pretty bad condition. Originally, they said that his
dad would not live, but he seems to be getting better. He
actually was able to sit up and eat today. He has swelling of the
brain and I'm sure he has several broken bones. If you guys
wouldn't mind keeping the Fleming family in your thoughts or prayers
that'd mean a lot to the family and friends.
